SYNOPSIS
Industries & businesses in APAC have continued to navigate operational, workforce & supply chain challenges in 2020-21, with capacity building, resilience and capability development being areas of focus. While there has been an increased interest in employing Industry 4.0 to mitigate these challenges, many businesses still perceive the adoption of Industry 4.0 as challenging – whether in terms of return-of-investment, cost, technological complexity, integration with existing operations, or accessibility to their workforce.
In line with the Future of Manufacturing Summit 2021 theme of “Bringing Industry 4.0 Within Reach” and industry-wide efforts to encourage greater adoption of Industry 4.0, the Future of Manufacturing Industry Roundtables will be conducted live via Zoom on 23 November to discuss issues on two areas of concern.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
The Industry Roundtables are exclusive by-invitation-only events and are open to senior industry leaders and selected representatives from the wider Industry 4.0 ecosystem. This discussion and dialogue platform is a highlight of Industrial Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC and is designed to drive cross-sector discussions among participants from around the APAC region. Expected attendees will comprise C-suite executives and business owners, heads of manufacturing industries and businesses across APAC, representatives from government agencies, research and institutes of higher learning.
