STANDARDS MASTERCLASS

This masterclass focus on addressing the top two concerns of SMEs relating to cybersecurity and connectivity on implementing Industry 4.0 technologies by equipping participants with the relevant basic knowledge on the various international standards and guiding participants to develop a basic implementable action plan for their company.

Masterclass 1: Ensuring Cybersecurity for Digital Factories

Scope: 

This masterclass aims to introduce concepts on industrial cybersecurity and provides an overview of the landscape, requirements as well as standards to support manufacturing companies’ Industry 4.0 journey in a secure and sustainable approach. Highlights of the masterclass include:

  • - Awareness on key challenges from cybersecurity in implementing Industry 4.0, risks to business and common threats as well as on how to overcome these challenges
  • - A solid overview of applicable cybersecurity standards to support overcoming the challenges
  • - Hacking demos to visualise and understand how cybersecurity attacks are performed using publicly available tools

Masterclass 2: Building a Connected Factory

Scope:

Equally important is connectivity and the need to understand data and their meaning to get important information as the real value. Highlights of the masterclass include:

- A technical deep dive about connectivity

- Practical demos about starting into the world of secured interoperability.
